Unfortunately SMT is only supported in the full system version. This will 
probably not change until we switch away from Xen and to KVM, which is built 
into Linux and doesn't need root access or a special setup.

I find it hard to believe that the Condor queue environment is incompatible 
with Xen - a quick search reveals many people using this configuration. Does 
Condor require a special kernel that isn't Xen compatible? Can't you just 
switch the kernel to a Xen compatible one? Everything in userspace should be 
unaffected by this. We provide some scripts with PTLsim that automate the 
creation of domains and running PTLsim on those domains so it can be used in 
a cluster environment with job queueing.
