[PTLsim-devel] Building a 32bit PTLsim binary on a 64bit distro

---I want to build a 32bit PTLsim on my 64bit linux distro. I comment out
the parts(checks) as it is written at the top of the makefile, but when I
compile, I take this error:

lowlevel-32bit.S:0: error: CPU you selected does not support x86-64
instruction set

I'm using PTLsim - r228. what may be the cause of such an error, how can I
solve?
